PR Lions: two Silver Lions to Leo Burnett Sydney, one Silver Lion to Three Drunk Monkeys

Leo Burnett Sydney won two Silver Lions and Three Drunk Monkeys, Sydney won a Silver Lion at the PR Lions ceremony tonight. Leo’s won for Canon ‘Photochains’ while the Monkeys won for The Cancer Council’s ‘Sun Sound‘.
Only 44 Lions were awarded including 11 Gold Lions. The Grand Prix was awarded to TBWA\CHIAT\DAY LA, USA for Gatorade’s ‘Replay’.

Let’s be honest. Not a very stellar year.
Has anyone actually heard the Sun Sound anywhere outside the vast amounts of award shows it’s been sent to?
Its Facebook page has a cracking 148 friends and was updated regularly for 48 days, stopping mysteriously at the end of January, never to be updated again.
Then again, once the Cannes entry is in, who the fuck cares eh?
