Peamonn dixon 1.jpgCB Exclusive – DDB Group Melbourne has bolstered its creative department with four new hires.

Most notably Eamonn Dixon (left) from Leo Burnett Melbourne. His work has been recognised at some of the world’s best award shows, including Spikes, Adfest and One Show. He capped off 2011 with two Silver Awards at YoungGuns and the coveted Gold Siren for Australian Radio Campaign of the Year.

Says DDB Melbourne ECD Grant Rutherford:  “Eamonn is quite the stuff. He’s bloody clever, a nice bloke and loves monkeys as much as I like dolphins. He’s one piece of the creative jigsaw puzzle we’ve been eager to find.”

Pitoby and jordi1.jpgDDB also welcomes AWARD School graduates Toby Kennedy and Jordy Molloy (pictured l to r).

With respective backgrounds in account service and film production, Kennedy worked at Leo Burnett and Euro RSCG while Molloy boasts credits on feature films such as ‘Animal Kingdom’ and ‘Don’t be afraid of the dark’.

“The fact that Toby was a suit in another agency means I’m extra delighted he’s swum upstream to the creative pool. He and Jordy are genuinely creative and a delight to have around,” Rutherford continues.

jacqui lau 1.jpgLast, but by no means least, Jacqui Lau joins as designer, most recently from TBWA in Hong Kong and Smart in Melbourne where she developed designs for Adidas, Levi’s and the Beijing Olympics.

“Jacqui is awesome. Like the boys, she is super-talented but has also managed to bring the testosterone level down in the department”, says Rutherford.
