Popcorn Creative targets more than motoring enthusiasts with opening sequences for new reality tv show ‘Shannons Supercar Showdown’
Commissioned by WTFN, Popcorn Creative has produced the broadcast brand and full graphics package for Australia’s new reality tv series ‘Shannons Supercar Showdown’.
Due to premiere Saturday the 23rd of July on 7Mate, the broadcast brand designed by Popcorn Creative seeks to influence more than just motor sports enthusiasts with it’s compelling and powerful opener and graphics.
The creative draws on the emotional, physical, psychological and public influences that shape tomorrows young, energetic and ambitious V8 drivers.
Viewers from a broad audience spectrum are enticed by this reality tv series sequence. The work allows Popcorn Creative to further cement its strong hold in high end creative development for the motor sports industry.
A relatively young player in the boutique agency space, Popcorn Creative has worked with
global brands such as Castrol on the World Cup 2010 to Castrol Racing Academy & Heros in the Middle East.
The creative process undertaken for the development of the Shannons Supercar Showdown called for a real understanding of the high energy motor sports world.

directed the shoot for opener and delivered the high quality style consistently for all the
graphics used throughout the show.
WTFN’s director production & development, Steve Oemcke comments on Popcorn Creative’s contribution to the project “A stellar result that will certainly have everyone talking. All the hard work and dedication has been greatly appreciated”.
Says WTFN’s head of production, Stephen Rees: “Popcorn developed a strong concept to match our brief of appealing to a broad audience. They went above and beyond to
achieve that goal, with fantastic results.”
Says creative director at Popcorn Creative, Matthew Packwood: “We value the strong
relationship we have with WTFN. The project was exceptionally enjoyable because WTFN
trusted our vision from the onset.”

Why is this on the blog? It’s bloody horrible and really should be on some broadcast design blog somewhere else . . . Then shit panned by it’s peers.
Looks like petrol-heads, smells like petrol heads. Yep, its for petrol heads alright.
I second that.
Obviously someone at CB is doing them a favor by posting this (second time this month). It has no place on this site. Nor any for that matter.
Wow, 7:08 actually has no idea how this blog, the CB empire, or in fact the broader business world in general works. Favour? Dude, wake up. Once awake also check out the spelling of favour.
