Original Juice outdoor: Big, Bold and Beautiful

You can’t lick a poster (well, you can, but make sure you’ve had your shots first). Taste has always been the impossible sense in print. But a new campaign out of DDB Melbourne for the Original Juice Black Label range proves that the best-tasting juice in Australia also has impeccably good taste.

Why even bother?
i love these. really nice.
oh wait, “these are shit, where’s the idea?”
And the idea is….??? Considering the other juice campaigns out there at the moment, this looks old, not original.
my CFO gave a powerpoint presentation last week that looked like that ad
These are ok for posters. They work best when there’s an intersection of three fruits, two doesn’t work as well. And the copy line could have changed for each one in the campaign. But a poster/graphic solution for a client that probably doesn’t have heaps of cash is quite alright.
The Venn Diagram finally comes into its own.
C’mon, these are rubbish, devoid of any idea.
These are not rubbish. The execution is pretty good.
They do borrow from a style of vintage European poster that is collectable at the moment and might have done so a little more closely but as as graphic solution they are fine.
Exactly. They are like those classic Dubbonet ads. No doubt they were rubbish, and the french creatives of the 30s shouldn’t have bothered. Honestly.
They look lovely.
Beauty is an idea that’s fed the arts fairly well over the years.
