New management team created at BWM Melbourne with goal to double the business
Following last week’s departure of managing director Hugh Nairn and the appointment of Shaun Branagan as Melbourne creative director, Belgiovane Williams Mackay (BWM) Melbourne has announced the creation of a management board.
The board will consist of Shaun Branagan, Group Account Director Belinda Murray, Group Account Director Nicole Miranda, Creative Group Head Amy Hollier, Senior Art Director Gus Johnston, Finance Director Tim Anderson and Jamie Mackay as acting Managing Director.
The Melbourne office has recently grown to 27 staff and BWM plan to double the business in the next two years.
“We have several large blue chip clients in Melbourne, and that warrants the creation of this high calibre team to drive it forward with fresh thinking,” BWM Group CEO, Paul Williams, said. “It will continue to take the creative philosophy of BWM – ‘ideas that get Australians talking’ to Victorian clients.”
“We’re really excited about this new opportunity for the business, and this is recognition of the great work the team has done in getting us to where we are now,”
BWM handles Simplot across a range of brands and also Kmart in Melbourne.

Looking good Bee
That’s not Gus.
The real Gus would be wearing a cardigan.
To be honest, why would an agency even bother to PR constantly about nothing? Next we will see the tea-lady has been moved to reception.
Slow news day Lynchy?
Exciting stuff.
Zzzzzz….
Why no planners?
Congrats Belinda, very well deserved. Take that CP b*tches.
BWM Melbourne are notorious for talking themselves up when they have produced nothing to suggest that they are an agency that should be taken seriously. I, and many other, find it hard to associate the words ‘fresh thinking’ with BWM Melbourne.
Blue Chip clients being handled by a Brown Chip agency
Talk about blowing your own horn.
I happen to be a client, a blue chip in fact. I make it my business to keep up with the ad industry to better know the agencies I deal with. I certainly would not want an agency like BWM Melbourne handling my business since their self gloating is a sign of arrogance.
Who has his arms crossed? Everybody knows this sends out a negative message. Body language experts say this is a sign of defensiveness, reluctance, arrogance and the closing of oneself to others. How are you supposed to win new business for BWM Melbourne when you strike a pose like that? And no smile, even. Oh, I forgot, smiling isn’t cool. I guess someone forgot to tell your colleagues.
Four people in this photo suffer from sweaty armpits.
Why do you consider yourself a Blue Chip Client?
B, looking hot.
Do they have a planner?
Less PR spin and more good work needed I’m afraid.
Do they have a planner?
isn’t that what creatives end up doing?
I think BWM will go onto to big things in the next 6 – 12 months…Rumour has it a Sydney MD from part of a world wide group will be joining them that has significant retail experience and clients.
Yeah right 3:09 PM.
3.09- will that require another 16 press releases?
