Momentum has an Elite sponsorship deal with the Geelong Football Club and will unveil SmilePower before The Cats take on The Saints in the opening round of AFL.

The launch is part of a fully integrated campaign developed by Twenty20Communications supported by television, print, radio, online and directmail. It will include a fireworks display, multimedia presentation onthe MCG big screens, competitions and merchandise giveaways.

The campaign aims to encourage businesses to ‘make the world a happier place’ and switch to renewable SmilePower from Momentum.

SmilePower is Momentum’s latest offering for small and mediumbusinesses, providing clean power backed by Australia’s largestgenerator of renewable energy, Hydro Tasmania.

The campaign ads feature a range of ‘happy’ appliances, delighted to bepowered by SmilePower’s clean energy, derived from a hydro system thathas been powering Tasmania for nearly 100 years.

Twenty20 Creative Director, Fysh Rutherford, said the SmilePower brandidentity and positioning was inspired by the feelings of happinessbrought on by using clean power.

“SmilePower provides renewable energy that doesn’t exhaust any natural resource in its creation,” he said.

“So we developed a positive concept that mirrors the positive benefits of using SmilePower.”

Momentum Marketing Manager, Natalie Davies, said the SmilePowercampaign created by Twenty20 was a perfect match for the product.

“There’s plenty to smile about with Momentum’s SmilePower so the brand identity is really fitting,” she said.

“Firstly, customers’ energy consumption will be matched by a cleanenergy source within the same calendar year it is purchased.”

“And SmilePower’s highly competitive rates will certainly put a smile on your face,” Ms Davies said.
