Merv signs photographer Ali Nasseri
Merv has announced that photographer Ali Nasseri has joined its fast growing group of photographers and storytellers.
Nasseri’s approach to photography is raw and uncompromising. He presents a point of view that isn’t judgmental but curious. The inspiration from his documentary photographs inform his approach to commercial work, resonating with brands that want to portray realism, candour and authenticity.
His photographs have been published in books and magazines and appeared on billboard and galleries. His first monographs “Bondi Republic” published by Allen and Unwin and his second “Today is to Dance” independently, both sold out. His third book “The last slice” a documentary series about the iconic last days of Frankie’s Pizza as well as his series of photographs documenting the scene of Kings Cross in 2012 before lock out laws changed the area forever, is to be released in 2023.
