The Sydney-based role is a response to the substantial growth and demands of digital services within the burgeoning agency.

Hall’s key tasks will be to grow revenue and improve operational efficiencies across M&C Saatchi’s digital assets. She will also oversee Digital production business MAKE.

It is something of a homecoming for Ms Hall who was M&C Saatchi group account director on Westfield and Freedom before departing for maternity leave in 2010.

With a pedigree in direct and digital from Proximity London, she also has extensive integrated experience looking after some of the world’s biggest brands including Apple, Playstation and heading up the award-winning eBay Australia account for TBWA\Tequila.

Hall will report directly into M&C Saatchi managing director David Whittle.

Says Whittle: “Olivia is the perfect person for this new role. She has an intimate understanding of our people and processes and brilliant leadership skills. It’s fantastic to have her back.”

Hall said: “This new role is a big move for the M&C Saatchi Group that sends a clear signal to everyone about the importance of our digital work moving forward. I’m very excited about the plans we have. It’s particularly refreshing to come back from a year’s maternity leave and be given an opportunity like this just a few months later. The agency has been really supportive and flexible to enable me to take this role.”
