Growing up on a dairy farm it is said, is where Cummins forged his love of ingenuity.

Spending the first 11 years of his career as an art director at JWT, Grey and Y&R, Cummins won numerous awards for his work on a large selection of brands. After being sacked from Y&R Cummins left with some stationary and a few client contacts and started one of Melbourne’s first digital agencies Sputnik. After 10 years of growing the agency into one of Australia’s most accomplished digital businesses with over 60 staff and a client list of international, high profile brands, Cummins decided it was time for a new challenge and took up the role of group creative director of Tribal DDB, working with a team of digital specialists and the broader DDB group.

Currently Cummins is a founding partner and ECD of The Royals. With offices in both Melbourne and Sydney, much of the work the Royals are producing today has a strong dose of the ingenuity that Cummins loves so much.
