MADC folk celebrate Christmas and farewell 2010 on the bowling green courtesy of Filmgraphics
It’s a sport of endurance, a sport of finesse, but mostly it’s a sport for octogenarians – lawn bowls.
The MADC industry folk were in fine form as they dislodged hips, swapped hearing aids and criticised Generation Y (even if it was their own generation) all in an attempt to act fifty years their senior.
The event was MADC’s latest and greatest function to bid farewell to2010, organised by the club’s vice president Tracy Proposch andsponsored by the good people at Filmgraphics Entertainment, who haverecently opened a new office in Collingwood, Melbourne.
Unlike many industry nights, which often end in a healthy mix of chaos, debauchery and witch hunts, this night was relatively relaxed, with adelicate summer breeze, a few cold beers and Frank playing over the PAsystem.
