The campaign, created by Leo Burnett Melbourne, which launches Monday, will ask the entire nation one question: What jobs do you wish existed? The aim is to compile an extensive list of new, never-before-existed occupations from the public’s responses. Giving them the chance to create a brand new job, one that they believe will have a positive impact on the real world.

Says Jason Williams, Leo Burnett Melbourne ECD: “We started thinking about how jobs become jobs? Usually there has to be a genuine need before they come into existence. It has to be a service that benefits us or adds to our lives in some way, shape or form. We thought if we could ask Australia to consider the services they really want and need we could potentially help bring to life. So we set out to find those jobs that don’t exist, but really, really should.”

To stimulate the public conversation entertaining online videos have been created proposing a number of wholly, original services that could eventually benefit the population.

As more and more ideas are suggested they will spark a countrywide conversation about the jobs and services that people actually want and need. Ideally some of these roles will eventually end up posted on the seek job site.

The entire campaign will be rolled out over 4 weeks through TV, online, outdoor, radio and ambient.
