Kylie Green launches new brand acitivation agency The Oven Communications in Sydney
The Oven Communications is the newly formed creation of former Kaleidoscope CEO and founder, Kylie Green.
With a few new project wins currently in the making, The Oven can cook up everything from promotional marketing, to shopper marketing, experiential marketing and retail activation, utilising Green’s twenty plus years of experience in marketing, advertising and finance.
The Oven has new premises in Sydney’s Balmain East and has a team of marketing chefs on board to service clientele.
Says Green: “The Oven promises to find the right recipe for all our clients’ tastes and deliver the right results every time. From general awareness, to engagement, to interaction and behaviour change and ultimately the final purchase decision, The Oven will ensure that your brand doesn’t end up over-cooked and burnt. We are already seeing gastronomical results for some of our clients and I’m certain it’s only going to get hotter for The Oven.”

What an awful pun ridden press release.
Can you imagine people? The most tired metaphor in the universe of ideas just think of how creative your activation will be.
I mean good onya for having a go.
PS What hapenned to kaleidoscope?

Next they be cooking with gas…..get it gas…..gas…..ha ha ha ha (no shakes head)
Dear Kylie green curry,
I’m sure you have the recipe for an amazing activation agency however half baked puns do get tired around the same time as a 3 min egg is ready. Serve your clients not with a menu of puns, and not a salad bar of bad ideas as if you do you won’t become a Michelin star. I’m not wining about your name, I’m just hoping your ideas are original and don’t repeat on themselves. I’m sure you desert to do well don’t over cook it.
I’m here all week…..make sure you try the veal.

Over-cooked.
Sounds only half baked…
Not hiring someone to activate my brand if they can’t adequately activate their own.
And why is the agency called ‘The Oven’? Does she have no idea of the gender stereotype she’s enforcing?!
over-cooked pr release.
Simmer down people.
Wow, the oven’s copping quite a grilling.
Theres a pun in The Oven
Good on Kylie for stepping out. These childish and bitter remarks are unlikely to be coming from prospective clients who are going to pay the bills and grow her business. Many advertising people these days are actually off the mark with their work these days because it has foundations in outdated thinking. This high and mighty attitude is one of the first indicators to me that those people are stuck and not moving forward in their business. It will be to their demise, not the likes of Kylie’s.
