Jeep, via CumminsRoss, Melbourne, has just launched its new 70th anniversary campaign featuring iconic sporting legend Tommy Hafey, who is in his 70’s.
Utilising the theme “Some 70 year olds Don’t Hold Back” this 60 second piece shows an example of keeping forever young, optimistic and full of life, at any age.
The spot was created by Sean Cummins and Jason Ross and directed by Mat Humphrey via The Guild.

Love it. Classic idea written out of birthday brief. Well done to all.
(and beatiful pictures Matt)
I think this ad is very smart and compelling. (not from agency but a jeep lover)
The best ideas are drawn from real life. Sean looks very good for 70.
From a Jeep owner and an advertising guy, it’s not half bad. It helps rationalise a good song stuck on a crap USA Brand spot (The original spot)
Can’t imagine they’ll ever have the money to run a 60′ but good luck with it.
Hmmm. First two comments – both positive and fans of the brackets…
(and not punctuating brackets).

Great comments. Looks like someones a fan of their own work
Anyone know if Cummins Ross are responsible for the new CGU spot?
Great ad for Tom Hafey. He looks amazing. I didn’t even look at the Jeep.
The one that makes no sense whatsoever, 8:07?
Agree with 3.31 Average. Same old formula ‘just as, so too’. No insight into the car, Seems to be an ad for Tom Hafey.
Oh man, I am so going for a run tomorrow.
