Jasmin Tarasin creates video installation to feature at the Sydney Festival from mid January

A ‘video’ installation by Renegade TVC director Jasmin Tarasin is featuring at the Sydney Festival in January.

Bus sides around Sydney are featuring Jarvis Cocker and Peaches in the promotion of Jasmin’s exhibition which features stripped back performances from renowned rock artists such as Dirty Three’s Warren Ellis, Rufus and Martha Wainright, Juliette Lewis (pictured left with Jasmin) and many more local and international artists.

Examining the roots of performance Jasmin has created an amazing cast and some extraordinary performances, traveling through LA, New York, Toronto, London and Melbourne assembling an unique exhibition designed by cutting-edge lighting guru Bruce Ramus (U2,David Bowie, REM, David Byrne, Brian Eno.)

The exhibition opens on January 14th in the Lower Sydney Town Hall. Some samples of the work can be seen on Jasmin’s reel at renegade.com.au
