Lovely
Beautiful. Simple idea, wonderfully crafted. Did i spot Deano in there somewhere?
Well done boys.
I’m a reader and I’m not overly inspired by this angle.
Does this remind me of every piece of work in the digital age (remember the first iPod creative loads of album covers craming into the iPod.
Is it beautifully executed? Absolutely.
Looks like we got ourselves a reader! @9:32.
Never trust an Art DIrector who can draw this well.
Absolutely stunning. True of Kindle.
I like it. An old angle but still a truth, and very, very well done. Should win something in craft categories at least.
Beautifully done . Simple and no doubt will be effective.
you guys are like the poor family who live at the end of the street. When one of your three eyed, retarded sons throws a stone at a passing car, you all chant and cheer.
is he watching porn?
I don’t get it. Please explain – without resorting to insults if possible. I see famous people, some real, some imagined, with “Be inspired” as a headline. I really don’t get it, or why it’s relevant to the kindle.
Wow. Reading suddenly seems really boring.
It’s the Rapture.
What an amazing piece of creative – well done GPY&R
To 3.39pm All these people in the background are linked in one way or another to books. They are authors, fictional characters or real personalities who have been written about by someone. Now, the idea of having them behind the guy reading a kindle is that all the books that exist can pretty much go with you where ever you may be. The style of the illustration is to represent the style of Kindles display, and that my friend, without insults, is what i see in this ad. Simple but beautiful. Well done.
2.31 meet 1.18 – you guys should get together – you’ll have an absolute blast…..
2:31 they’re all authors you imbecile.
The only author the layout is missing is the one who posted at 1.18. What a talent. It’s really reassuring that our business attracts people that can comment so cleverly and with such eloquence. Where have you been hiding? You clever fucker! Let us know when your next piece is up. If that comment is any indication…look out! Is there a category for blog posts. Might be worth investigating.
Nice Illustration! simple Idea, well done
Sums up the product in a flash and because of the incredible detail of the illustration you can’t help but keep staring at it picking out different people. Lovely.
@ 4.52 ANONYMOUS
yep.. Capitan hook is a very good author!
I’M KURT COBAIN WHAT
pretty certain nobody in the ad is famous for being anonymous.
I want an iPad
‘there’s no money mr art director, if you want it to go ahead you’re going to have to do it yourself’.
10/10 for effort and getting an ad made.
unfortunately 5/10 for end result.
harry potter is in the crowd. you can’t actually get harry potter on the kindle. too harsh?
Give them time 3.22, give them time.
