Abby Hunt-web.jpgBelgiovane Williams Mackay has appointed branded content specialist Abby Hunt to head up its onscreen division.

Hunt, who previously worked at BWM for five years before working overseas, has more than 20 years of advertising and production company experience across Singapore, London, New York and Sydney markets.

Most recently, Hunt, the daughter of ad legend Lionel Hunt, has produced Fiat Evo Music Rooms – a 360-degree branded content project, a multi-million pound campaign for UBS in London, successfully produced the BigPond ‘Tommy Lee’ campaign, and the Cannes Grand Prix winning Virgin Mobile ‘Warren’ campaign.

Hunt worked previously for BWM Sydney as deputy head of onscreen production until 2009, before taking on a number of freelance roles in London with HMDG, krow, Publicis, Media Arts Lab, and Kings of Polo.

On her appointment at BWM, Hunt said: “I am so excited to be returning to BWM, it’s like coming home. I was at BWM for five years before heading overseas to freelance and BWM is the best agency I have worked at. It is innovative, challenging and always a laugh; it makes such a difference that the guys whose names are on the door are in the office every day.”

“We are so pleased that Abby has rejoined the team at BWM. She is the perfect person to take on our offering to produce great quality content for any and every screen – we are delighted to have her return to Australia to join us,” said BWM creative director Rocky Ranallo.

Hunt will be responsible for all moving image production across the agency. She will head up a dedicated department of producers and editors ensuring BWM maintains its leading-edge creative production. Hunt will also manage BWM’s in-house production department, with a mandate to deliver big ideas with challenging budgets and ideas that live outside the traditional media forms.

In her new role, Hunt will be reporting to Ranallo.
