Host Sydney introduces ‘The Butt St Choir’

host1.jpgHost today launched ‘The Butt St Choir’ – an interactive Christmas card on site at Host featuring 50 members of staff performing Tchaikovsky’s ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’.

The choir’s performance utilises a multi-touch screen, allowing viewers to switch on and off the different vocal parts, to orchestrate a unique rendition of the song.

Host’s digital team custom built the multi-touch screen using an infrared light plane of lasers and special made infrared sensitive cameras.

Clients are asking us more and more about this sort of technology so it’s good to have learnt a few things along the way.”

The Butt St Choir – a name that references the Host address – can be viewed at the agency’s premises in Surry Hills.
