Host beefs up client list with MLA win
Host Sydney has been appointed by Meat and Livestock Australia following a pitch against BMF and 303.
The agency will work with MLA to promote the nutritional benefits of red meat, taking over from Brand Council who developed the most recent campaign starring Australian acting icon Sam Neill. Prior to this, the account was with The Campaign Palace for over two decades.
Says Host CEO, Anthony Freedman (left): “Meat and Livestock Australia has a long history of producing some of the most enjoyed and effective campaigns in Australia. We look forward to developing work that lives up to the high standards set.”
Adds MLA marketing manager – Nutrition, Veronique Droulez: “This agency review process has been a great opportunity for our team to take a fresh look at our nutrition strategy and we are delighted to appoint Host with whom we hope to enjoy a long and successful relationship”.
This win follows a run of new business success for Host, who was appointed by Sydney Water only last month. Earlier in the year the agency was also added to the agency roster for The Coca-Cola Company, was appointed by VHA to manage advertising for Vodafone and 3 Mobile and commenced work with Electrolux Group.
Says Freedman: “This year Host turned ten years old and it has been incredibly rewarding to see our business continue to go from strength to strength as we hit this milestone.
“It will be record year for new business and growth but perhaps the most rewarding element is the vote of confidence from existing long-standing clients who have further strengthened our relationship with additional responsibilities. These include Bankwest who added Business Banking to our Retail Bank responsibilities and also BT Financial Group who appointed us to manage additional campaign elements for the BT brand as well as other wealth brands such as Asgard, Securitor and Advance.”
