Honeymill signs animation director Aniverse

The Honeymill family has a new addition to its roster, illustration and animation director, Aniverse.

Aniverse is a creative collective based in Istanbul, Turkey,  specialising in illustration, motion graphics, direction and animation. Led by founder and director Ahmet Iltas, an artist and director with a skill set spanning disciplines from illustration, animation and CGI.

Under Iltas’s guidance, Aniverse has created work for the world’s leading agencies and has directed films for brands including Samsung, Toyoata, Turkish Airlines, and the Irish Independent.

Says Paul Bennell, creative director and founder of Honeymill: “A key driver for Honeymill is to break geographical boundaries and bring in excellent international animation studios of all styles to help agencies and brands create top quality, commercial animation. Aniverse is an internationally recognised and world-class team. Their work is always dramatic with their trademark, transitions, camera moves and lighting effects designed to create mood and express wonderful emotions.

Says Iltas: “While we are comfortable producing anything from 2D, 3D and motion graphics projects,  If I had to describe our (Aniverse’s) style I’d say that we love playing with light and shadow to create beautifully lit and atmospheric stories, it’s one of our core focuses’ and passions and we try to reflect this in our films as much as we can.
