Holiday road toll halved from last year, says RTA

Neurosurgeon Dr. Brian Owler asks motorists a few questions about what they’d prefer to do during their holiday break. The campaign from George Patterson Y&R, Sydney ran over the Christmas holiday period and, according to the RTA , fatal accidents in New South Wales were halved from the year before.

Perfect example of the power of great advertising used for good, not evil.
And finally, one of these road toll campaigns is actually citing the one and only metric that matters, a drop in road deaths, instead of website hits or facebook likes.
Nice to hear a bit of good news. Someone must be doing something right. Road signs and speed cameras might be improving the safety.
