Haynes returns to Perth as CD at Equilibrium

GordonHaynes.jpgFormer Marketforce senior writer Gordon Haynes has returned to Perth after five years on the east coast to take up the role of creative director at Equilibrium.

Haynes enjoyed success at Marketforce in the mid-2000s before leaving in 2007 with then creative partner, art director Maisen Hall, to join McCann-Erickson Melbourne. Haynes also did a stint with Sapient Nitro in Brisbane and was freelancing back in Melbourne when the opportunity at Equilibrium came up.

Haynes said he was excited to return: “It’s good to be back. Perth’s changed a fair bit, as has the industry. Plenty of people and account moves, so the timing feels right. There’s a lot to love about joining the guys at Equilibrium. The agency has grown steadily over the years and has collected a good client list along with a number of talented people. The agency’s digital capabilities are also impressive and I really wanted to join an agency with experience in that area.

“The fit seems ideal and I’m looking forward to getting on with the job of creating quality work for our clients. To that end, one of my first tasks is to find an art director and a digital designer – there’s plenty going on here, so if you’ve got some talent, please get in touch.”
