3d 1.jpgHasbro and Xbox are the latest big name brands to capitalise on 3D cinema advertising, launching stunning 3D ad campaigns this April through Val Morgan Cinema Network.

Lewis Hughes from OMD Sydney said 3D advertising offered Hasbro a unique and highly engaging platform to promote their Hasbro KRE-O Battleship range which sees Hasbro KRE-O figurines, alien spaceships, and battleships bought to life on the big screen.

Says Hughes: “Converting our TVC into 3D is guaranteed to capture our target audience by bringing our products to life. Cinema is an unrivalled advertising environment and 3D only enhances this immersive experience, ensuring that children leave the Cinema wanting to build a bigger battle with KRE-O Battleships.”

Val Morgan CEO Damian Keogh said that the number of 3D screens now operating in Australia paired with the unique engagement of 3D provides advertisers with a highly effective opportunity.

Says Keogh: “With over 700 3D cinema screens operating, 3D now has real scale. It’s a cutting edge marketing platform, taking ads into 3D further capitalises on cinema’s unique impact and engagement. With 3D proven to heighten audience attention, there’s a lot of interest amongst advertisers.”

With over 25 3D releases ahead this year there are huge opportunities for brands to add a new dimension to their advertising campaigns.

3D blockbusters later this year include The Avengers, Men in Black 3, Prometheus, Spiderman, Brave, Ice Age 4 and The Hobbit: Part 1 among many others.
