Pool announces $10,000 ‘Pool Grant’
POOL Productions is delighted to announce the very first ‘POOL Grant’. Founded in 2008, by top ad photographers Sean Izzard and Simon Harsent, POOL is a collective of photographers who share the common aim of creating world-class photography whilst inspiring and contributing to the wider community through visual art.
In keeping with their commitment to the development of new talent, POOL will award a $10,000 grant to assist a selected photographer research and produce a photographic project of their choice. The competition is open to students, assistants and photographers (who are in their first three years of shooting professionally).
The POOL Grant is being run in association with ACMP/Projections. Thewinner will have 12 months to complete the project and the results willbe presented at Projections 2011.
Entrants must submit their photo series and POOL Grant proposal before Friday 30th July.
