This looks very dangerous to me and will nodoubt cause an accident when a half aware driver changes lane and meets real oncoming traffic – which lane to choose? Too late the last thing going through his mind will be his arse.
wake up. see truck coming at you. Swerve. even bigger truck now coming at you. it’s real. crush. burn. smear. splat. dead. your life taken by an advertisement.

I’m sure that they weren’t trying to be lazy you cock.
Anyway, you’d best get back to creating some paradigm busting idea you’re working on.
Like me, indeed.
All you geniuses saying that it’ll cause accidents rather than prevent them, kindly explain how this will happen exactly.
Think about it and get back to me.
Killer of an idea, especially for other drivers. To explain, 10.58, when I’m approaching the vehicle from behind at an intersection and suddenly see a truck apparently facing me, I might be tempted to swing wildly left or right to avoid the bloody thing. Especially good fun at night.
Ok 2:08. But as you approach it, you’ll see it from a distance and figure out that it’s not coming towards you. You won’t “suddenly” see it.
Unless, of course, you were seriously distracted from what’s going on in front of you, in which case it has done its job (to get you to pay more attention).
Frankly, that 0.000001% who were driving dangerously and are stupid enough to swerve will be doing the gene pool a favour.
I remember an episode of CHiPs with a similar storyline. Someone customised a car to look the same at the back as the front. Farrah Faucett lookalike changes lane on the freeway and gets the fright of her life. Swerves, crashes. Jon and Ponch go after the perp. Great ep. 🙂
I think it was an awesome campaign, the message that the TAC was trying to get through was to all you dope heads out there that are always filling asleep behind the we to pay more attention when you are on the road. And as for swerving to adviod the on coming Truck that is pulling away from you, stop smoking the bad weed, you weeds. I saw the TAC truck ad earlier this year and it was very eye catching and got across the message. Well done TAC and Greys.

Oh come on… it was a gold Lion only a couple of years ago…! http://www.bestadsontv.com/ad/13359/Centraal-Beheer-Achmea-insurance-Back-of-the-bus
looks like an accident in the making to me
seems a little dangerous if you swerve.

Just looks distracting to me….wonder how many accidents it caused?
And when someone swerves to miss the ‘bus heading towards them’ and crashes into on-coming traffic, can I assume they can sue TAC?
Thats just plain embarrassing…..everyone saw the Beheer work, c’mon guys.
There’s a removalist in manly that dies that. Deadset.

This is honestly the most dangerous idea I’ve ever seen.
Is it for real? If I was dozing and saw that, I’d swerve right off the road!
That’s real smart… Not! Crash crash-in-waiting me thinks. Sometimes it beggars belief what passes by as an idea to some people…
Been done. A lot. Sorry.

Really?
How many times has this been done?
Lazy creative.
I like it.
You’d have to drive within 2 metres of it to read the line hidden at the top of the windscreen.
