A little late to the party, there GPYR. Most other agencies have had a social media expert for a year. BMF, Leo Burnett, Clemenger. Even your sister agencies like Wunderman and the Palace had them long ago. The sleeping giant is still asleep at the wheel. Sheesh
@11:15
Fuck it must be awesome to be you.
One of the best in the business….and a really nice chick to boot! Good on you Tip.
Brad: thanks so much.
Anonymous: yes it is pretty awesome being me
Anonymous: For all the other agencies with social media capabilities for “a year” BMF employed my former colleague Digital PR Manager Angela Graham in late Dec 2009, and I haven’t seen anything notably social coming out of the other agencies you mention unless you mean the YouTube video for Berlei being promoted today by TCP?
Have some dignity Tippy. Keep your head below the parapet unless you’ve got something coherent to say.
Tip… can I call you Tip? Look I don’t know you, but here’s a free tip for you. I think you’ll find Anonymous @7:50 wasn’t addressing you but rather the previous Anonymous comment @11:15 (I believe the little squiggly ‘a’ symbol thing-y means ‘at’ but hey I’m not all that Social-savvy so I could be wrong) therefore, by deduction, 7:50 was actually sort of defending you. Not that I doubt for a moment that it’s still awesome being you nevertheless.
Thanks Anonymous 3. You are indeed correct and I completely missed the @11.15. User error on my part.
As this thread shows, Tip’s off to a great start already…

By “great”, do you mean that she’s working the social media echo chamber with gusto?
That’s all these so-called social media gurus seem to do.
