GPY&R Sydney snares former Happy Soldiers’ managing partner Sasha Firth as group AD

Sasha Firth, former managing partner of the recently disbanded Happy Soldiers, has joined GPY&R Sydney as a group account director.

Firth brings to the new role senior experience at Ogilvy London, The Campaign Palace, Sydney and BMF Sydney working across a variety of clients including Gillette, Macleans, Bonds and Westpac, Virgin Money, Masterfoods and Berlei.

George Patterson Y&R Sydney managing director Phil McDonald said that the agency had recorded a very strong first half and Sasha’s experience will make her a valuable new addition to the team: “Sasha really knows how to manage senior client relationships. She is a leader and as her track record shows, a very passionate advocate of great advertising.”
