GPY&R Melbourne wins Gold Lion for ADF ‘Mobile Medic’ at Cannes Media Lions

mm_board.jpgGPY&R Melbourne scored Australia’s only Gold Lion at the Media Lions, awarded tonight at the Palais de Fesivals.

The agency won for the already multi-awarded ‘Mobile Medic’ campaign for the Australian Defense Force.  

Silver Lions were awarded to OMD for 5 Gum ‘5X Mutant Gum’, Whybin\TBWA Sydney for MJ Bale ‘Grazed on Greatness’, and Ogilvy Sydney for Coca-Cola ‘Share a Coke. The 5 Gum ‘5X Mutant Gum’ also won a Bronze Lion.

Ikon Sydney won two Bronze Lions for Coca-Cola ‘Share a Coke’; Wonder, Sydney scored a Bronze Lion for Qantas ‘The Great Crusade’; as did Starcom Melbourne for Twix ‘Digital Pause Button’. JWT Melbourne won Bronze for Melbourne Writers Festival ‘Wi-Fiction’.

New Zealand scored two Silver Lions, one for OMD Wellington for Dulux ‘What’s your Dulux colour of New Zealand’, the other for Clemenger BBDO Wellington for Tranz Scenic ‘See more of New Zealand by train’.

Saatchi & Saatchi NZ/AIM Proximity Wellindton won a Bronze Lion for Toyota FJ Cruiser ‘Top to Bottom off road’; as did Colenso BBDO Auckland for Monteith’s Crushed Cider ‘Sorry about the twigs, folks’.

In total 107 Lions were awarded on the night.
