GPY&R Melbourne wins two Gold Lions for ADF ‘Mobile Medic’ at Promo & Activation Lions

George Patterson Y&R Melbourne has scored two Gold Lions – both for the Australian Defense Force ‘Mobile Medic’ campaign – at the Cannes Promo & Activation Lions, awarded tonight in at the Palais de Festivals.
Euro RSCG Sydney won a Silver Lion for Vanish Napisan ‘Sponsor the White House’, as did Leo Burnett Melbourne for 7-Eleven ‘Slurpee BYO Cup Day’.
For New Zealand Colenso BBDO Auckland scored two Gold Lions, one for Pedigree Adoption Drive ‘Donation Glasses’ (a joint venture with Australasian production company Finch), the other for Monteith’s Crushed Cider ‘Sorry about the twigs, folks’, which also won a Silver Lion and a Bronze Lion.
DDB New Zealand scored a Bronze Lion for Steinlager ‘Believe’.
In total, only 86 Lions were awarded on the night. The Grand Prix was awarded to Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Boulder for American Express ‘American Business gets an official day’.
