George Patts Sydney add a little luxury to laundry with new campaign for Fragrance Temptations
In what the agency claims as a groundbreaking direction for the category, GPY&R Sydney thisweek launches Colgate Palmolive’s new laundry product FragranceTemptations with a campaign that references the world of high fashion, rather than the traditional ‘mumsy’ approach of most laundry detergent ads.
Acombination of Fluffy Fabric conditioner and Fab laundry detergent,Fragrance Temptations is a new entrant in the laundry market designedto target younger women.
“The campaign idea and execution allows the product to transcend the laundry and actually become part of someone’s luxury and self-indulgence repertoire,” says GPY&R executive creative director Julian Watt.
“We love how this campaign delivers on all it’s business objectives but how it also reframes the whole category effortlessly. It’s great when good clients want stand out work,” says GPY&R managing director Phil McDonald.
The campaign consists of a 30 and 15 secs TVC. Print, experiential and OOH executions will be rolled out over coming months.

nice one Bart,
all the exercise is paying off!
Gotta say, pretty nice spot.
There is nothing soft about that fabric softener spot…..
Good detergent stuff. Nice one Patts.
Nice one G Love. Def worth missing a few gym sessions for.
Even though I’ve never been to Melbourne, it’s quite a nice little spot.
Isn’t that a very similar strategy to Furby’s dunny cleaner stuff?
Jesus! Colgate Palmolive ad with a hot girl in lacy underwear… I never thought I’d see that.
Sexy, simple, smart.
Well done guys.
Mmmm, quite nice, but I prefer them naturally perfumed myself

9.52 you’re right – no TVCs with chicks in them ever again.
What were they thinking!!
the old ‘you think its a perfume ad but woops’. done better before for beer, toilet cleaner and fast food
Good to see the GPY&R staff getting on here to support their own work.
Do you know what would be great, if you spent less time slating other peoples work and actually did some worth watching yourself… just saying.
