FutureMe writes the way ahead in latest Australian and U.S. campaign via Hardhat
FutureMe, the online platform that allows people to write to their future selves, is encouraging people around the world to ‘write the way ahead’ in a new campaign by recently appointed independent creative agency Hardhat.
The new global positioning is the first work by Hardhat with the campaign rolling out in primary markets across the US and Australia.
Says Imogen Griffiths, head of brand, PR and content for Memories Group: “We’re excited to launch this new positioning as we work to expose more people to the power of their own words in shaping their futures. FutureMe has already proven an invaluable tool for so many. We hope this campaign will pique the interest of millions more.”
Says Glenn Dalton, executive creative director at Hardhat: “There are a million inspirational quotes on the internet, on the t-shirts we wear and the art we hang on our walls, but our behavioural research told us the most powerful words are those we tell ourselves. And when we commit these words to writing – as seen in the launch film – they can help give purpose, direction and maybe even change the course of our lives. We’re thrilled to be working with the team at FutureMe and hope our work together encourages millions more to write the way ahead.”
FutureMe was created in 2002 as a “weekend hack” based on a simple and compelling concept: write a letter to your future self. Over two decades, FutureMe has organically evolved into an enduring brand revered by many millions of users around the world.
More than 8 million people have since written over 13 million letters to the future, that continue to be delivered from the past to the present, evoking increasingly profound reactions.
The brand also offers FutureMe Pro, an enterprise subscription product, which has been enthusiastically embraced by businesses around the world.
