Wow!
great idea guys. Love it!
really nice idea that should ruffle a few toff nose feathers. Great to see the international thinking out of Brisso again!
awesome idea, must be an awesome client too
This is going to be big! Is there going to be an exhibition of the best work? If it’s in a serious gallery down here in SYD, it could be massive.
World’s best, biggest, longest, fastest, fattest, most formulaic ….
Being the worlds first makes headlines. What’s your point?
Nice idea guys.
Being original or interesting grabs headlines.
Reapplying a successful formula might work in the short term, but ultimately people detect the pattern, grow tired of it, and finally stop paying attention. That’s the point.
Strip away the whole ‘World’s richest’ thing and what have you got? An art competition with a big cash prize.
Awesome idea. Hope you get a heap of real artists involved, now that would be cool!
8.44. You’re funny.
This is ok – it should get about $50,001 worth of exposure.
Nice job you lot.
Very nice campaign.
Be nice if the store experience was a fraction of this campaign experience.
Well done on getting it made.
Well done again Sapient, must be awesome to work there, you guys are always coming up with brilliant ideas.
yeah one idea every 2 years is a good hit rate….
One is greater than none.
Are they going to manufacture and sell the winning design? That would be pretty cool – sneakerheads are pretty insane when it comes to buying unique artist designs right?
I think it’s a great campaign. Yes, it’s another competition, but art prizes are pretty deepseated conventions, so I think what they’ve done is really cheeky and fun.
I admire the concept of this art competition. As a young artist i have many times felt the pressures of entry requirements for prestigious competitions such as previous winnings and creative education status. The prestigious footlocker comp allows artists of any age whom may not have a well known name in the art world to flaunt there talent without restrictions. I hope the winner of this comp will be a highly skilled individual that will prove that you dont need a bloody 10 page resume of bullshit to be the best.
