FG Entertainment director Gracie Otto shoots video for Samantha Jade’s new track ‘Shake That’
Filmgraphics Entertainment director Gracie Otto is going from strength to strength. Off the back of her successful feature documentary The Last Impresario, Otto has dived into the exciting and fast paced world of music videos, directing the latest video for Australian singer Samantha Jade for her new track ‘Shake That’ featuring American hit maker Pitbull.
The video was shot on location in Wahroonga, the perfect setting for Jade and her backup dancers. Karla Clarke was the stylist on the shoot and the video was choreographed by Adam Williams.
A last minute change in the schedule saw Otto jump on a flight to Miami on a Wednesday night, to shoot in the breathtaking 1930s House at the Thompson Hotel in Miami on the Thursday with Pitbull.
Otto and DOP Denson Baker, were the ultimate team on this shoot, working with a dynamite team in both Miami and Sydney.
Edited as well by Otto, this video was a collaborative effort on every front, with crews working tirelessly on either side of the world, both in the weeks leading up and on the shoot days.
