Whoa…the 90’s called, they want their creative back!
But what else can you expect out of Adelaide, they’re all a little slow down there.
NIce one, Roh & Matt.
Bloody nice bikkies too.
That really is bad , looks dated and fails to raise any sort of smile.
Stupid.
Disappointed chill out and stop being a douche.
It’s a nice ad, it’s funny and simple. Sure you would have done some huge, world first, integrated campaign but we all the closest you’ll ever get to working on a crackers ad is placing the product in a catalogue.
Why does everyone need to hate? I know it’s monday are you live pathetic lives but this made me LOL.
9:32, you are all that’s wrong with this blog and anonymous blogging in general. If you have a view, why not try to fashion some persuasive words to support it.?
It’s ok, it does feel like it could have been slightly funnier, but it’s pretty good for a rice cracker.
Funny and it gave my boobies a little tingle. Nice one shady o’grady.
To begin with, I think this is a nice idea.
But I think the execution could be better. The critic in me can’t help but wonder if it would have been funnier if the women were oblivious to the fact one of them was a guy dressed as a lady, and he was sharing some insightful anecdote about life as a woman that had everyone else in stitches.
You don’t have to be a lady to enjoy Fantastic Delites etc.
As is, there isn’t anywhere for the audience to think “that’s not a woman”, because the actors have done that for us. What’s left for me? I relate the brand to kind of an awkward social moment. Probably a bit harsh. But there it is.
Happy Monday.
bad– dress it up anyway you want.
a 15′ idea that goes for 15 seconds too long…
Good on you for at least articulating your issues and suggesting improvements, 11:41AM. There’s too little of it on this blog and way too much monosyllabic hating.
Yeah, I agree that it’s a nice idea but nowhere near as funny as it could have been. But hey, I can relate to that. S said has hit the nail on the head when he/she says ‘I relate the brand to an awkward moment.’ It would have been better if he had been more involved, like the women weren’t aware he was a woman. Maybe something could happen like letting his deep voice slip or his mobile goes off with a ring tone that’s overtly masculine. Just first thoughts but something like that. But stuff like him getting up to take the women into the other room, wanting to take the box, and having his wife say there’s plenty more biscuits just flattens the whole thing and feels a little irrelevant. Nicely executed though.
