Ex-Australian Creative editor Sonia Caeiro joins Droga5 Sydney as communications director

Sonia Caeiro has joined Droga5 Sydney as communications director – effective immediately.

Caeiro has a broad background in media, corporate communications and public relations and was most recently the editor of Australian Creative magazine.

Creative chairman David Nobay said it was an important role for the agency. Says Nobay: “These days, it’s naïve to think that the concept and the execution is everything. Any idea’s impact is determined as much by how it lands within the popular media environment, as anything else. Sonia’s  role isn’t about making our internal comms more slick, it’s about ensuring that our ideas punch harder for our clients.”
