Utter rubbish. If I see another ad with people in suits, supposedly as body parts, I’ll scream. Yet again, an agency that thinks it’s done some creative work that is brilliant enough to PR here, when in fact it’s total crap.
Beer anyone?
This explains why the credits say ‘everyone’
People in suits can still be funny, as long as the scripts are. Which means providing the sort of twist that is sorely lacking here.
However, I found exploration of the Republic website more interesting than their ad and I recommend you all click through.
Given the agency’s laudable position on sustainable advertising, I’m wondering about the environmental friendliness of these ads. Obviously the jokes are disposable and will disappear seconds after viewing, thus saving the Earth from bad humour.
But what about the padding in the liver costumes? Is it biodegradeable? Or will it drift down a drain and throttle innocent baby seals?
Republic of Everyone.
Who’s taking credit?
Republic of No-one.
Come on Michael, lets make it compulsory to name those responsible in credits not just cop out with things like ‘Everyone’. Well if it was everyone, then why not name everyone so we know who has produced this shit and avoid ever hiring them or giving them new business..
I quite liked it. Thought it was cute, if not revolutionary in execution. Midgets are always good. Nice writing, nice job, forget the haters.
Anonymous people criticising Everyone…any irony in that?
The difference between ‘Anonymous’ people criticising ‘Everyone’ is ‘Everyone’ placed their work up here for comment so should have the balls to credit who did the work.
some poor guy got into a suit for that.
I didn’t like this much but after also having a look at their site, there’s better stuff there. And credit goes to people in this industry with ethics – as there are plenty without.
I think its AWESOME!
