Evergreen launches the Ageless Website Audit to improve website appeal among users over 45
Evergreen Advertising and Marketing has announced the launch of the Ageless Website Audit. The Ageless Website Audit is designed to maximise website appeal among the emerging tech-savvy over 45s, Boomers, and Seniors.
Evergreen will demonstrate how the Ageless Website Audit works on 11 September 2012 at 11am. For more information call Chris Dimopoulos, account director at Evergreen on 9413 9900 or contact him via email here.
Marketers and advertisers know that the over 45s are flocking to the internet and that thousands of dollars can be saved if all advertising is put online. This influential group has the most economic power when it comes to discretionary spending and net worth (Accessed information at least monthly, Roy Morgan Research March 2012).
But with 80% of Boomers and 52% of Seniors going online (ABS Household Expenditure Survey, released 2012), websites can run the risk of missing out on a lucrative online market. Evergreen’s media team includes a digital media strategy for nearly every client but not without careful considerations on how generations interact with digital media. As a result of 10 years in the business, Evergreen has assembled valuable data on what websites need to do to maximise appeal to this key consumer group.
For example, websites that keep circling them through a maze of frequently asked questions are a short cut to disengagement. Similarly, busy, text-laden Home pages with poor visibility will lose Boomers and Seniors at the first click through.
Evergreen claims that websites need to be ageless – Evergreen will analyse websites, testing and rating over 250 dimensions against web dynamics for the over 45 sector, and report on what’s working well and what elements require modifying.
