This guy certainly knows how to make an entrance. Fredrik Bond directs this 90 second spot for Heineken and Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam, where Aussie expat Eric Quennoy has recently been appointed joint executive creative director.

Nice ad. But the lead is a bit of a knob.
nice idea, awful casting, shame.
Yeah, not bad. Good music. Ordinary endline (looks like a planner’s proposition).
Awful. I’ll never drink that shite beer again.
great ad and great ‘european’ casting. If he looked like an Ashes losing Aussie it would really stink
the first two responses here explain why almost every guy in aussie ads overplays the dumb bogan angle — like it’s a crime to have style.
I bet he drinks carling black label.
wanker drinking wanker beer
Did anyone see the Melbourne Bitter ads on TV the other night?
Bloody brilliant.
4.51 I know who you are. You go by the name of, ‘unaccomplished hack’ who’s never achieved a thing in the industry. And you know it, punk-ass fool. I dare you to apply for a gig at W+K Amsterdam. You’ll be selling your backside on the street in no time, just to buy a pint.
Top spot done by very creative people.
What a knob.
Maybe they didn’t consider the ‘disgruntled Australian creatives who check CB as soon as they get into work’ market carefully when casting.
Shame really.
Could’ve been a CB hit.
This is a terrific ad. Who are you people?
Im with Mills.
Beautifully done, and I’m not even the target market.
