Entropico announces new roster additions Julian Lucas and Prue Stent
As its profile and renown grows across Australia and the USA, Entropico has announced two additions to its diverse and exciting roster: masterful comedy director Julian Lucas, and provocative artist-photographer Prue Stent.

With a keen eye for life’s comedic quirks, Lucas excels in turning the ordinary into the extraordinarily funny. His directorial style is a unique blend of laughter and discomfort, capturing the essence of human connection with an offbeat charm. Lucas’ talent lies not just in casting, but in transforming everyday moments into memorable cinematic experiences. His films are a playground where the peculiar becomes magnetic, and the mundane transforms into a canvas for comedic brilliance as seen in spots for Mitre 10, CUB and AHM. A master of dialogue-heavy scripts, Lucas crafts conversations that resonate with authenticity and humour, creating a symphony of wit and charm. Known for her bold and unusual approach, Stent is a photo-media artist who pushes the boundaries of traditional photography. Her work is characterised by vibrant colours and unexpected use of the human body, challenging viewers to reconsider their perceptions of beauty and form. Embracing the surreal, Stent creates striking compositions that defy expectations, inviting audiences into a world where nothing is as it seems.
Says Stent: “Joining the Entropico team feels like a natural fit for me as an artist who thrives on experimentation and collaboration. Their commitment to pushing boundaries aligns with my own ethos of challenging norms and redefining perceptions through photography. Entropico adds these new talents to its roster at a time of great excitement and growth for the company. 2024 has seen Entropico push further into the US market, based out of its new Frogtown office in LA. While back at its HQ is Sydney, the team is pushing boundaries within the traditional advertising space of Australia, working on campaigns for clients including Samsung, Ubank, DFO, and NSW Government.
Entropico also celebrated a mammoth 2023, with the release of its debut feature film ‘ONEFOUR: Against All Odds’, to widespread critical and commercial acclaim. The film went to #2 on Netflix Australia. 2023 also saw some big award wins, including two Webbys for its work on feature-length interactive live-stream Game On for YouTube; A Bronze Cannes Lion and Gold at AWARD Awards in partnership with R/GA and GARUWA for short documentary Through the Fire with We Are Warriors; an Effie for the A-Leagues HCTF Music Video in the Innovative Media or Channel Solutions category with agency partners R/GA and BRING.
