Enjoy more of life’s little victories
BMF and Lasoo, one of Australiaʼs largest shopping search engines, has launched a major TV campaign.
The campaign highlights how Lasoo helps shoppers score more of lifeʼs little shopping victories – from discovering deals in their area and tracking down elusive items, to finding the right price on a huge range of goods.
“The simple truth about Lasoo is that it can deliver you a great deal when youʼre shopping for something. Armed with that insight, we looked at dramatic and interesting ways to bring it to life.” said BMF ECD Dylan Taylor.
BMF won the business in a competitive pitch in March 2011.

Serioulsy BMF? What are you guys thinking over there?
Sorry, but this isn’t any good.
??????????????
…and they’re back. Nice.
Like it.
great casting, love the bearded guy and will cross the road if i ever see that kid coming .
funny funny shit.
Who is lasso ?
Haha! That spot about buying the TV is great – was totally my experience when buying my 46″ bogan plasma.
Miles is the best comedy talent around. Keep an eye on that dude.
almost
About freaking time BMF. I like it.
Love the TV one.
Funny stuff. love it.
Nice one booker and co. great casting.
Ruined it with the lame checkout chick voice over at the end.
How could you hate on this? Some people are weird.
Most people still won’t understand what Lasoo is after watching that.
Indulgent and not clear at all. Just looks like they are buying stuff at K-Mart like you normally would.
The kid is funny weird though.
Beautifully casted / directed. Bit at the end let me down but funny still.
still no idea what lasoo is?
Sick lens flare.
I like the TV one. Actually I like both.
Nice one guys, these are really nice
Awesome work reggie, they should never have let you walk.
oh come on!

1.23.
Is that supposed to be similar?
So no one is allowed to do a VO of thoughts inside someone’s head?
Oh come on!
The second idea is very similar to this actually: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C7oqXewyCE&feature=related
3.18. Are drunk? Or stupid? Or both?
I like it. It’s put BMF back on the map for me.
Oh, and for those people asking ‘What is Lasoo?’ I think you’ll find people have the internet now and aren’t afraid to use it. Ya fucken dinosaurs.
Awesome casting! Funny as shit – that kid is crazy as.
3.51pm your ad still has to explain what the faarkin product does and this doesn’t in anyway….
….Interweb or no interweb.
Why would I give a faark to look for it – if I don’t know what it is….?
3:18, if you can’t see that the second ad (TV) and the Ikea ad are not only similar, but conceptually identical, then god help you.
a paid attention to both of these when i saw them on air the first time. wasn’t hard to figure them out. well made.
10.15- Same insight on the TV ad, but the foreign ad is labored and unfunny. This is sharp, well done and funny. Big difference.
Hysterical and the casting is genius. Give credit where it’s due.
7.10 – what does a drumming gorilla have to do with chocolate?
I’m troubled by people who praise aspects of these and yet in the same breath make the significant point that the ad didn’t tell them what Lasoo is. No matter how appealing an ad is, if you don’t know what the hell it was about or can’t attribute it to the correct brand, it’s an unequivocal fail. And that bloke in the second ad, hasn’t he been busy? Having saved the bird in Carlton’s ‘Dove Love’, now he’s buying a big TV. I call that lazy casting. Sorry BMF, we’re none the wiser no matter what you say.
Good point, 2:29. I love that fantastic ad with the guy nursing the cute birdie back to health, you know the one… for that beer…um…
Really lovely – great script, great casting and direction. nice one.
It will pickup, believe me.
