DTDigital tests skills of clients this Christmas
DTDigital has created a giant claw game to test the skills of their clients this Christmas. Set up in the agency’s reception area, the SELECTOR3000 features a robotic claw made from Lego and other household items like gaffa tape and rubber bands.
The game allows users to control the skill tester from their computers in real-time, with $20 going to the St.Vincent De Paul society for every successful grab.
Concepted by creatives Jason Deacon and Emma Park, the possibility todo something that could be controlled from anywhere in the world was awinner. “The fact that people can get involved in the project, nomatter where in the world they are is really great.” says Deacon.
The Christmas card has already raised nearly $2000 and became atrending topic on Twitter in a matter of hours. Emma says “We’rethrilled with how it has turned out. Five days ago we weren’t even sureit was possible, so to see it now, up and running, and raising money isa testament to the entire team at DTDigital who have worked so hard tomake it happen.”
The SELECTOR3000 will be online until 6pm, Wednesday December 22nd at www.selector3000.com
View the SELECTOR3000 feed or follow @_DTDigital on Twitter.

There seems to be a lot of Skill Testers coming out of Melbourne agencies lately. Clems for Carlton, DDB for MS and now this.

How they make this thing work over the net is beyond me. That’s the killer feature. Well done.
If it fucking loads today i’ll have a crack.
Average at best. I’d dearly like that 25 minutes it took to load before delivering me an error message
