‘Flower’ is a lush and sultry video palindrome created by Aussie-owned Droga 5, New York for the launch of Parlux’s Rihanna perfume Reb’l Fleur. The intricately crafted spot was directed by @radical’s Dave Myers and edited by Cut + Run’s Dayn Williams with effects by Radium.

Ooooooh!! Very Black Swanesque!! Taps into the current popularity theme!!
Hahahaha. But I guess it is a perfume ad so whattayagonnado?
Breathtaking
Lets hope the perfume does not stink!
If one of the creatives is reading this, why didn’t you use one of her songs as the soundtrack for this spot?
Is it because they didn’t want to pay the royalties?
10:43 – Because they’re shit.
They didnt use her music because it wouldn’t have suited the concept. this is beautiful. i wonder what the tv edit is like?
i like i like
‘video palindrome’ – give me a break.
shame Rihanna can’t act – her wooden performance lets the team down a bit. Love the flower scene. Lovely production values.
I cant believe Droga5 would PR this?
It’s very well made and, yes, the flowers sequence at the start is good, although I liked it better when chris cunningham did it for Gucci.
Well said 5:27, i thought something was reminding me of the gucci flora ads…
i quite liked this until i realised it wasnt a parody. how embarrassing…
actually it is not a stand alone film but an interactive website only.
Film is average, site is smart.
.
One of the more uncomfortable things i have ever seen. Nicely shot, but over blown and horribly acted.
Gucci leaves this for dust.
It’s horrible.
i could almost see her boobs…stylish feather fluffing and boobs followed by product near her her crotch….oh yes very tasteful.
