Lovely script. Really nice insight. Kind of let down by the casting and production thought I reckon.
Let’s see… I get sunburnt and I risk being mistaken for a backpacker… Hmmmm, fairly tenuous link there I’d have to say. Probably sparked up lots of experiential ideas for any backpackers milling around who heard the ad but. Although I don’t think it would do much for Coppertone’s sales. It was for Coppertone wasn’t it?
Very compelling insight. No-one likes a backpacker (unless they’re the Scandinavian-variety).
What’s wrong with being a backpacker?
I laughed when I heard it on a radio in a surf store recently.
It’s funny. Got my attention
I guess it’s better than the outdoor, ahem.
Good work fellas. Lovin this campaign. Refreshing not to see sunspots for a sunscreen ad. Funny.
how can he be backpacker traveling australia with an australian accent?
nice work, keep it up.
12:12 – I think there may be a slow carbon monoxide leak in your office.
12.12 He gets mistaken for a backpacker. Mmmm
Two things 1) 1.20, that’s the best response I’ve seen on here in ages. 2) Most backpackers have tans that put my dark-room tan to shame. Maybe not the best insight.
“Inga, is he trying to focus?”
funny. good. i like. particularly since most aussies would never have had their own tourist crap shoved in their faces.
nice steve
Great post 1.20. V funny.
‘A guy at a bar gets mistaken for a backpacker. What more reason do you need to avoid getting sun burnt?’ – Awesome insight, thought it was going to be a great ad but the execution was a disappointment.
