Domain.com.au stirs up market with largest ever spring campaign via Whybin\TBWA, Sydney
In a sign that a highly competitive spring real estate season is on its way, Domain.com.au, via Whybin\TBWA\Tequila, Sydney, this week launches its largest marketing campaign to date, spearheaded by a national TV spend across free to air and subscription TV.
The TV spot is adapted from last year’s campaign. It is supported by online and print as well as ambient activity targeting home buyers and renters. The campaign also specifically targets sellers, urging them to contact their agent about being listed on Domain.com.au.
Says Tony Blamey, general manager, real estate at Fairfax Media: “This is the time when real estate is on the agenda for a huge number of Australians looking to sell their property. With Domain.com.au’s website and iPhone app – which has already recorded a massive 500,000 downloads – as well as our new iPad app, we intend to ensure they know we are the place to be for property listings as well as expert advice.”

omg…
Some things don’t get better with age.
shank me in the balls with a knife.
shank me in the balls with a piece of metal ripped from the bunk below thats been sharpened on the cell wall
Same ad with an extra scene!!!!!! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?
IS it just me or has anyone else noticed that the creative standard has dropped significantly in the last two years.
Matty and dave can do lot better than this.
It was shite when it came out and it is shite-er now
do i see balls?
Last time I ran into a invisible front door and knocked myself out cold I certainly didn’t have half a mongrel sitting upright in my shorts. This television commercial is not convincing.
Matty, Dave, why on earth are you p.r.ing this again??
‘Game changing work ‘ alright.
I think everyone will agree that Matty and Dave are awesome creatives, and in the past have been involved with some truly ‘game changing’ work. But in order for them to continue doing great things, they need to get out of Whybins, fast.
Penis.
It really doesn’t matter what the ad is – the fact of the matter is that the website is full of bugs that make it impossible to use.
As a person in the process of selling and buying, I started on Domain, but as I needed to use it so often, I had to switch to realestate.com.au as domain was so incredibly frustrating.
There is no point in Matt and Dave to bring out their best work when it will all go down in flames anyway thanks to the (complete lack of) usability of the site.
Am I the only one to notice that Doddsy’s credited as art director?
WTF?
I can’t stand that VO. Can we please stop using that smiley voice.
20 seconds of rubbish to get to a lame joke.
Should have canned it the first time.
What’s happened to them? they must have got old, lazy, or lost the desire to still do awesome stuff or maybe all three.
This ad can be easily summed up with an old saying “no matter how far you’ve gone down the wrong road, turn back”
Sadly they heaped more shit onto a steaming mountain of shit and have created the Everest of shit!
Why on earth would you embarrass your client and your agency by PR’ing a year-old concept simply because it has a bigger media buy than 2010?
Seriously?
this has steam coming off it..lots of it. and agree with above comments, why would you PR this turd….it’s bad, really bad..whybins fail
The original ending was much better.
The track’s fantastic.
Oh sorry, I mean crap.
Don’t just blame the creative dept, what about the arse clowns in strategy? Do they even have any at Whybins?
They don’t have any planners at Whybins, that much is obvious.
