Director collective Toby&Pete joins @radical.media’s growing roster

In the second major announcement for @radical.media in as many weeks, the company has added the multi-disciplinary creative collective, Toby&Pete, to its director roster.

Holly Alexander, executive producer at @radical.media, explains that locally and internationally the company is always looking for great talent to nurture and develop.

Says Alexander: “This is a great collective of young super creative guys who are shooting films, designing and building installations, developing interactive digital platforms and experiences, illustrators, animators, photographers and artists. They are exciting emerging talent and it will be a lot of fun to see where we can take them.”

As designers, directors and thinkers, the guys at Toby&Pete are driven by the shared belief that a good creative mind can tackle any problem across any discipline. The group draws input from all members with a focus on innovative visual direction and new approaches to image creation.

Ian Fowler, managing director of @radical.media, said that Toby&Pete had brought a set of skills to the roster that allow them to service briefs that go beyond the traditional 30 sec TVC.

Says Fowler: “The future of advertising is about being nimble, free thinking and innovative. You need to be able to wear a multitude of hats in a way that inspires confidence and creates brilliance. As far as this goes, they have such enormous potential and understanding of contemporary advertising.”

Toby&Pete’s folio of award-winning work for major brands including; Cadbury, Vodafone, Smirnoff, Schweppes, AMP Capital, Canon, VB, Bonds, Commonwealth Bank, Virgin Money, Rolling Stone Magazine and Sydney Festival.  Drawn from various agencies, production and creative houses, the guys have produced work via Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Publicis Mojo, Clemenger, Droga5 and Host.

Says Toby&Pete: “We feel extremely honoured to receive this acknowledgment and support from a company as reputable as @radical.media. The work they produce is amongst the best in the world.
