Dentsu Network West is finally opening up a Sydney office on the weekend, five months after CB revealed its intention to do so following being appointed to the Toyota Yaris business in November last year.
The Sydney agency will headed by Dentsu Canada’s president and CEO Bob Shropshire and Canadian vice president group account director Emma Hancock as the agency’s managing director.

Canada: America’s hat.
Yeah, nobody understands the idiosyncratic nature of the Australian consumer like two Canadians who’ve never lived here.
Sort of like taking your bank business overseas. Only in reverse.
A great advertising idea is a great advertising idea anywhere.
Try telling a lot of Australian clients ‘A great Advertising idea is a great advertising idea anywhere’ and all you’ll get is crap about unique Australian conditions….bla… bla…bla
Good ideas can come from anywhere. Problem is, they’ve never come from Dentsu.
