Davis set to depart the CD role at Y&R Auckland

VaughnDavis-web.jpgCB exclusive – After 10 years at Y&R Auckland, creative director Vaughn Davis, is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Y&RCEO Jon Ramage told CB: “With a portfolio of loved and respected workon clients like Elections and BNZ Vaughn’s integrated approach andpassion for effectiveness has been highly valued. He has produced awardwinning work across a range of clients with some outstanding workrecognised globally.

“Vaughn has done a terrific job on numerousclients, across many categories a real testament to his integratedcommunications skills. He leaves the agency in great health having itsbest creative awards year in 2009 and with three finalists in thisyear’s Effie awards.”

Davis represented New Zealand on the Cannes Direct Lions jury this year.

Ramagesays the hunt is on for a replacement. In the meantime Wellingtoncreative group head, Duncan Munro will lead the agency’s creativeoutput.
