Coca-cola Pool Boy 3 (1).jpgCoca-Cola is set to air the popular ‘Pool Boy’ TV spot via Santo, Buenos Aires, in Australia, this Sunday, May 7.

The spot has garnered lots of global attention receiving almost 3.9 million views on YouTube since its launch in early March.

The ad tells a fun story of sibling rivalry. On a hot summer day, a brother and sister compete to win the affection of the family ‘pool boy’ with each racing to be the first to offer him an icy-cold Coca-Cola. Yet, little did they know their mum had other plans.

Coca-Cola is launching the spot in the Australian market to build on the momentum of the global Taste the Feeling campaign. The ad was created with the idea that no matter what you’re doing, everybody loves an icy cold Coca-Cola.

Says Lisa Winn, marketing director, Coca-Cola South Pacific: “As a brand we are constantly looking for ways to keep our work fresh, exciting and engaging to our consumers. We do this by tapping into everyday moments and telling universal stories that connect with our consumers around the world.

“We are thrilled to launch ‘Pool Boy’ in Australia, which tells a great story with Coca-Cola at the centre. We are confident ‘Pool Boy’ will resonate well with Australians, building on the success it has had since its launch in other markets.”
