Clemenger Group executive chairman Robert Morgan said that health andwellness has been a strategic priority for us since the originalacquisition of CJB (then Curtis, Jones and Brown) in 1999.
“Recognisingthe huge potential of the category, we’re thrilled to be complementingthe strength of CJB in the prescription drug space with the skills ofUrsa in OTC and health services. This, we believe, gives us an offering second to none in the space,” he said. “Clients from all parts of the health spectrum will see the benefit of broader skills, deeper experience and the wide variety of Clemenger Group capabilities. Notably, our imbedded digital assets will give UrsaClemenger a huge advantage in the new age of customer contact, both for reaching health professionals and developing a dialogue with customers to help them live better lives”
Le Page added that maintaining good health shouldn’t be all about deprivation or worthy behaviour; that health agencies shouldn’t be stiff and dull. They should have energy and vitality and a curiosity for life. “Bursting with health”
“Our staff and clients should love working with us because we have passion and enthusiasm for their products and brands. We see a fantastic opportunity to create a new agency that meets the needs of the expanding opportunities in health. You’d bloody hope so. But mindless drivel all the same.
There will be some unhappy campers at CJB
Good on you Denis. You and Greidy were always the brightest two in the class.
What a shitfight, I’m already looking at the clients who were with Ursa for the very reason they are medium v large NY based agency, and sad thing, Clems management, none of who started the business, think this is a good deal
CJ used to B
The CJB creatives have been given a totally raw deal. Screwed by their own management.
