CB Blog still ahead of the trade press pack



The CB Blog once again is well ahead of Australian ad trade press* competitors Australian Creative, B&T and AdNews according to Alexa data for the last month.
Whilst we can’t compare the sites using IAB data (as the others choose not to be audited), according to Alexa figures the CB Blog – the only one of the four online trade press titles that is audited by the Audit Bureaux of Australia – has in the last month a global Alexa traffic rank of 64,166, ahead of B&T (ranked 70,983), AdNews (ranked 79,141) and Australian Creative (ranked 693,644).


Daily time on site per user for the CB Blog is an impressive 17 minutes, compared to only 2.2 minutes for Australian Creative, 2.45 minutes for AdNews and 2.09 minutes for B&T.
Daily page views per user over the same period for the CB Blog is 9 page views, compared to Australian Creative with 3.4, AdNews with 2.15 and B&T with 1.58.
The Bounce rate (the percentage of visits that consists of a single page view) for the CB Blog is lower than the others (the lower, the better) with the CB Blog at 47%. This compares to 51% for Australian Creative, 66% for AdNews and 74% for B&T.
*ad trade press defined by those Australian sites that also produce print editions.

What about Mumbrella?
Surely that’s your biggest competitor?
I don’t quite udnerstand the bit about print editions when you’re comparing online traffic?
Looking at Alexa stats for Mumbrella for the last month, it has 4.16 minutes of daily time on site per user, 2.58 daily page views per user and a Bounce rate of 51.6%.
