Cannes Integrated Lions: Clemenger BBDO Melbourne wins Silver, Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney scores Bronze

Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne scored a Silver Lion for their Guide Dogs Australia ‘Support Scent’ campaign and Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney won a Bronze Lion for Tooheys ‘Beer Economy’ at the Cannes Integrated Lions tonight.
For New Zealand Colenso BBDO Auckland won a Silver Lion for their Yellow Pages ‘Yellow Chocolate’ campaign.
Only 14 awards were presented, with the Integrated Grand Prix going to Wieden & Kennedy Portland for their Nike Livestrong Foundation campaign featuring Lance Armstrong’s return to cycling after battling with cancer. The agency created an inspirational film series, a Lance Armstrong ‘Just Do It’ commercial, print and OOH , as well as a new medium: The Chalkbot, which allowed the world to see their words of memoriam, hope and courage chalked onto the Tour de France roads.

Two campaigns were awarded at the Titanium Lions: Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Boulder won the Titanium Grand Prix for their Best Buy ‘Twelpforce’ campaign. To extend the knowledge of their expert Geeks and Blue Shirts beyond their walls and into the digital space, Best Buy created the Twelpforce. A digitized army of Best Buy employees available 24/7 on Twitter. And not to push products — but to provide twelp. A new term for technical help in tweet form. Anyone with a question could shoot a tweet to @twelpforce, at any time. And over 2000 expert Blue Shirts would race to give the fastest, bestest answers. Plus, the collective power of Twelpforce would scan the twitter-world for tech-issue tweets and quickly lend a hand, without anyone asking.
A Titanium Lion was also awarded Forsman & Bodenfors, Gothenburg for Ikea ‘Facebook Showroom’, which used Facebook with a competition to engage people in the opening of tthe new IKEA store in Malmö, Sweden.

Well done clems. Suprised it’s not a gold.
Support scent was definitely the best example of thinking. Massive fan of that work. Silver ain’t bad though.
I second that. Guide Dogs should have been a gold for sure
